1880\'s Flint Wagon Works Engraved Stationary Letter Toledo Ohio Branch Office For Sale

Rare to find circa 1880\'s 2 page Letter from The Historic Flint Wagon Works Co from the Branch Office here in Toledo. The office was at 224-226 Superior Street. From what I can gather from the letter this was some of the first correspondence from \"The Branch Office\" that was seeking a building and to \"start up\" the Business in Toledo. The letter talks about getting a horse here and he would get a wagon for about half anyone else could. The letter is in very good condition with period look from over 140 years ago. This is the first I have seen that The reknown Flint Wagon Works was going to have business in Toledo and so some historical commentary by the writer. Of course as time rolled on Flint Wagon Works began making Automobiles aka Buick and incorporated The Whiting Motor Car Co. You can see J H Whiting was President & General Manager on The left side of the Letterhead. Really an interesting find that some collector should like. See the 3 scans.
