1875 Handwritten Letter H.C. Carr Note Regarding Beans Payment Winthrop, Maine For Sale

Original handwritten letter dated June 28, 1875, from H.C. Carr of East Winthrop, Maine, to J.F. Putnam. In the letter, Carr informs Putnam that he has sent 3 bushels of beans, describing them as “good and hard,” and notes that the price is 3.00 per bushel.
