Beautiful 17th century brass pricket candlestick with tripod clawfoot base.
This is a great example of the type, with a slender turned stem with acorn knop. There is an old solder repair between the stem and the base as well as around the candle cup by the pricket but both extremely solid and have been on the candlestick for many many years. The base displays an untouched patina.
There are some scratches and dings as expected, but overall it is in nice condition
Measures 11” from foot to pricket.
