This beautiful Herkimer Diamond Quartz cluster is from The Herkimer Diamond Mine KOA Resort in Middleville, New York!
It is comprised of 2 crystals which measure around 2 inches in length with a smaller gem sandwiched between them. One of the crystals has good clarity with internal fractures which produce lots of internal rainbows, while the other has absolutely amazing clarity with gorgeous smoky phantoms and internal rainbows. Almost no inclusions. Sharp edges and terminations. There are some areas of host rock contact on the bottom and back, including on one of the terminations, but this specimen is in excellent condition overall.
As with most Herkimer Diamond clusters of this variety, some reconstruction was required to prepare it.Mined by hand in the Fall of 2024.
