This complete set of 15 porcelain miniature figurines from the 1st USA Red Rose Tea promotion in 1983-1985 features a variety of animals. Handmade in England using poured molds, these glazed figurines are ideal for collectors of decorative sculptures and figurines. This original set is a retired collector's item, making it a unique addition to any room for teens, adults, and kids alike. We do our best to source only NM to Mint. We remove the ones that are chipped around the bases, ears, noses ect. There are only 3 complete sets being listed all are in excellant condition. ( THIS LISTING IS FOR 1 COMPLETE SET OF 15 PCS. USA PROMO 1983 - 85' ONLY. ) See our pictures, the only differences in peices may be in color variations, which, if you know Wades, can range from a dark color to - oops ! I missed the paint booth entirely - see the l last photos for examples. These examples ARE NOT included - they are to visually demonstrate the color variations only, and may not be peices represented in this set but are representative across all early USA promo sets. It's hard to see looking at one point two peices, so here is a look at 50 plus. LOOK from Top left to bottom right. I only collect the darkest and the lightest so you wont get either extreme but the middle is vast and all are factory produced just the way they are. Think about it - going from the multi-colored RRT Canadian promos to taking on the single color RRT USA promos was a leap for them - we should be grateful for the paint they did get on 'em. I actually have many with no color, just glaze, as well as color one side but not the other ect. For me it's been part of the fun and the charm of collecting these little guys.
