🌰 Vintage Vermillion Real Walnut MCM Tripod Serving Bowl with Salt & Pepper Shakers

Beautiful and unusual vintage Vermillion Real Walnut serving/salad bowl, made by Vermillion Inc. of Springfield, Missouri, USA, and retaining its original manufacturer's label.

Dating approximately to the 1960s–early 1970s, this is a wonderful example of American Mid-Century Modern walnutware. Vermillion was known for attractive serving pieces made from genuine walnut, and surviving examples with their original labels are collectible today. �

The large sculptural bowl is constructed from beautifully contrasting segments of real walnut, creating a striking grain pattern throughout the interior and exterior. It rests on an elegant three-legged tripod stand with long tapered legs.

🧂 Particularly nice is the original matching wooden salt-and-pepper shaker set, suspended beneath the bowl from wooden arms. The bottoms are correctly marked “S” and “P.”

One original stopper/plug is present. The other is missing and has been replaced with a cork stopper, which fits and serves the purpose well. This is clearly shown in the photographs.

✨ Condition: Very good vintage condition with attractive original finish and normal minor wear consistent with age and use. The walnut displays beautifully. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact cosmetic condition.
