Weare offering a very unique tobacco pipe made by Peterson of theRepublic of Ireland. It is the Petersen Killarney Red # 106introduced in 1949. The Killarney typically has the fishtail designstem, but this #106 has a variant or custom configuration, and isusing the patented P-Lip design which routes smoke toward the roofof the mouth rather than straight across the tongue. See google forinformation on details as to how it works. It has a vivid glossy rubyred finish over smooth briar. There are twin nickel bandshighlighting the shank. The pipe itself is in very good condition. There are some chatter marks on the mouth piece. It has good clearmaker's marks on both sides of the shank and is a handsome pipe indeed. Please refer to the photos for the best look.
