Up for sale is a unique vintage set of hand-painted wooden nesting spheres. Unlike traditional cylinder-shaped Matryoshka nesting dolls, this rare set nests together into a smooth, round ball!
Each nested sphere layer features detailed insect artwork:
- Outer Layer: Honeybees on an intricate honeycomb design
- Middle Layer: Ladybugs crawling on green leaves
- Inner Layer: Spiders resting on spiderwebs
- Center Piece: Solid wood core orb
A wonderful piece for collectors of Russian folk art, novelty nesting sets, or nature-themed decor!
Please review all pictures for exact condition and close-up views of the hand-painted details. THE LARGEST SPHERE HAS CRACKING AND CHIPPING ON THE GLAZE.
