• The Brand Era: The Toscany Corporation (which marketed these under both the \"Toscany Collection\" and \"DePlomb\" labels) imported and produced high-end crystal home goods heavily throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
• Production Context: These specific square-based swirl pillars were part of their American-made crystal collection manufactured during this time frame.
• Why they look brand new: High-quality 24% lead crystal is structurally harder and far more resilient against fine surface scratching than standard lime-soda glass. When properly cared for, stored away from moisture, or kept safely in a china cabinet, vintage crystal pieces from the 1980s will easily preserve their glass clarity, brilliance, and sharp edges without exhibiting any typical signs of aging.
