STUNNING UV-REACTIVE HYALITE OPAL WITH BLACK SCHORL TOURMALINE!
An outstanding cabinet-size mineral specimen featuring multiple lustrous, jet-black Schorl Tourmaline crystals nestled throughout a beautifully crystallized white to cream-colored Feldspar matrix, accented by natural rusty-orange iron-oxide staining and sparkling druzy formations.
The highlight of this specimen is its spectacular UV fluorescence! Under ultraviolet light, extensive areas of Hyalite Opal glow an intense electric neon green, creating dramatic contrast against the dark Tourmaline crystals. The fluorescent material is distributed throughout much of the matrix, making this a particularly attractive specimen for both daylight and UV display.
The specimen features several prominent black Tourmaline crystals with well-defined crystal faces, surrounded by blocky Feldspar formations and smaller crystals. Its three-dimensional structure offers numerous interesting viewing angles.
