Rare Vintage 1980s Lifesize Albert Einstein Statue & Media Cabinet
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, highly collectible vintage lifesize Albert Einstein novelty statue and storage cabinet. Standing roughly 4.5 feet tall, this iconic 1980s piece is crafted from a hand-molded fiberglass and plaster composition and beautifully finished in its original high-gloss lacquer paint. What sets this specific piece apart is its exceptional, investment-grade condition. Unlike most surviving examples on the market, this statue is 100% complete with its original glass monocle and delicate gold metal chain latch fully intact and functional. The stack of books Einstein holds is actually a cleverly hidden wooden cabinet. Lifting the gold chain unlatches the hinged door to reveal three fixed wooden shelves—originally designed for CDs, but absolutely perfect for media storage, unique book collections, bar car spirits, or curios.
