The Montblanc No. 252 is a vintage fountain pen manufactured from the mid- to late 1950s.

Key Features and Positioning: Second Line—This is the smallest model in the “25x Series,” which was designed for practical use and positioned below the flagship “Meisterstück” series.

Production Period: Mid- to late 1950s, beginning around 1954–1956 (including color models such as green).

Size: With a total length of approximately 12 cm (with cap on), it is compact and easy to handle.

Specifications and Construction: Cap Mechanism—This is an early model that, unusually for Montblanc, employs a push-on (slip-on) and pull-off mechanism rather than the conventional screw-on type.

Filling Mechanism: Piston-filler system, with a practical ink level window on the barrel.

Nib: A 14-karat (585) open nib with a unique shape resembling a butterfly or a leaf.
