This ring represent Dan Simplicio\'s best work from the 1960\'s. Unsigned, but definitely from the same vintage as the C. G. Wallace material and from two of his colleagues near Zuni at Vandewagen, N. M. and Gallup. This one came from my friends Ernie and Esther Vandewagen when I lived at Tome, New Mexico near Isleta Pueblo in the 1980\'s. It came from the vault in Gallup; at E & E Pawn; along with many other Navajo Dine and Zuni wonders thatI am beginning to sell from my collection. You may never have the opportunity to add one of Simplicio\'s work to your collection like this or the others that I am offering. It shows the red coral which he was the first to utilize flanked by what appears to be Sleeping Beauty Turquoise on a cast band 22.68 grams - size 11. It has 4 handmade silver \"raindrops\" to highlight the stone coloors of the coral and turquoise of the ring. The handmade elongated chunky bezel and chisel decorated later more abstract leaf elements set off the setting. A decorative treasure from one of the Zuni Pueblo Master silversmiths.
