🔪 LEATHERFACE #3 (1991) CGC 9.8 WHITE PAGES — NORTHSTAR PUBLISHING 🔪
Up for sale is an elite, top-tier horror grail: Leatherface #3 (1991), professionally encapsulated and graded CGC 9.8 with WHITE PAGES! Published by Northstar Publishing, this issue is a must-have for hardcore horror collectors, cult comic fans, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre enthusiasts.
🌟 KEY INVESTMENT HIGHLIGHTS
Highest Grade Possible: CGC 9.8 Near Mint/Mint — top of the CGC Census structure!
White Pages (WP): Extremely rare for early 1990s indie horror releases from Northstar, which were printed on cheap newsprint stock and prone to yellowing over time.
Low Print Run: Indie horror comics from Northstar in 1991 saw minimal circulation compared to mainstream publishers, making high-grade surviving copies exceptionally scarce.
Iconic Horror Franchise: Loosely adapting and expanding upon the events of Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990).
🩸 ABOUT THE STORY & CHARACTERS
Written by horror maestro Mort Castle with artwork by Kirk Jarvinen & Jason Moore, this 4-issue limited series explores the brutal depth of the cannibalistic Sawyer family.
👤 Featured Characters in this Issue:
Leatherface (Bubba/Jackson Sawyer): The chainsaw-wielding, human-skin-mask-wearing icon of American horror. In issue #3, his psychological torture, split mentality, and relentless bloodlust take center stage as he executes the Twisted Sawyer Family\'s horrific offerding.
The Sawyer Family Clan: Features appearances from Tex, Tink, Alfredo, and Mama Sawyer — the demented backwoods clan that drives Leatherface\'s madness.
The Survivors (Michelle & Benny): The tragic prey caught stranded in the backroads of rural Texas, fighting through pure survival instinct against relentless slashers.
