Because my bookends completely lack casting marks or inscriptions on the metal, they are highly likely a production variant by the Armor Bronze Company or an unmarked late 1920s batch from the Pompeian Bronze Co..During the 1920s, multiple foundries shared or duplicated these exact galvano-bronze molds.
The lady weight is 2.13 the guy is 3.13 , both are over 7 inch tall and almost 6 inch wide at the base . Overall, both book ends are nice shape. If you have any questions, let me know. I’m not an expert in these so everything that I’ve written is based off of what I could find, but they make a great addition to anyone’s library.
