Antique ledger 1891 Social History Thackwell Smith Family Grocer CHARLBURY For Sale

Antique ledger 1891 Social History Thackwell Smith Family Grocer CHARLBURY Oxfordshire.
I leather bound ledger account of orders taken by Thackwell Smith family grocer back in the 19th century. Quite an eye opener seeing how the rich and wealthy were able to purchase anything they wished as you can see from The week to week accounts of different families ordering their food from the grocery store. There are 42 pages of orders taken and some paid for there are some pages with stamps on them it looks like once a large amount of money had been paid. It was sealed with a stamp proving payment. This book is from the 19th century and overall it is in great condition. The writing of the grocery orders is beautiful. I have other ledgers that I am going to list at a later date
