Lot consists of (2) Original, Unused, 1985 TSUKUBA EXPO\'85 JAPAN WORLDS FAIR EXPOSITION - \"COSMO\" - CLEAR STICKER SHEETS. Clear background sticker sheets have 13 colored stickers each, on a clear overlay. These are original sticker sheets from the 1985 Exposition, not reprints, reissues, or copies made at a later date.

Expo \'85, officially called The International Exposition, Tsukuba, Japan, 1985 (Kokusai Kagaku Gijutsu Hakurankai, \"The International Science Technology Exposition\"), was a world\'s fair held in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan (Tsukuba Science City, a planned city focused on technology north of Tokyo) between Sunday, March 17 and Monday, September 16, 1985. The theme of the fair was \"Dwellings and Surroundings - Science and Technology for Man at Home\". The official mascot of Expo \'85 was Cosmo Hoshimaru. Maki Takagaki, a junior high school student designed the mascot which was chosen as part of a nationwide competition by school children.
Each Clear Sticker sheet is approx. 4-3/4\" high x 2-7/8\" wide and comes in it\'s original backing. Sticker sheets have only light signs of handling on edges and corners. Stickers have not been removed nor will be.
