The Nixon Presidential Library documents the “President Nixon Now more than ever” design as campaign bumper strip 2B, matching the 2B marking visible on these examples. � The McGovern Eagleton piece dates to the original 1972 Democratic ticket; Eagleton was selected as the vice-presidential nominee in July 1972 and was subsequently replaced on the ticket by Sargent Shriver. �
