History of my collection:
Some of the cards I’ve had graded are from my original stash dating all the way back to 1976-1979. (Anyone from Chicago remember Rosen’s in the Andersonville neighborhood?).
I was lucky that my grandparents had tucked away some of my unopened cards in a closet along with a few comic books. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have some of the gems you see on today!
I’ll definitely keep a few of these keepsakes for myself—and for my kids to appreciate someday—while offloading a big chunk of my collection to help pay for my kids’ schooling.
