Very good vintage condition Wedgwood Majesty Water Goblet. I believe it has never been used as the original “Made in Yugoslavia” sticker is intact on the base. This discontinued pattern was produced from 1988 to 1993 but the Yugoslavia sticker indicates this goblet dates prior to 1992 as that was the year the Yugoslav state was officially dissolved. It’s fair to assume that if the goblet had been used in the last 36 to 21 years the sticker would have been removed.
I believe this piece may have been used as a sales display (??) as there are some intermittent superficial scuffing/scrapes along the rim (see pictures), perhaps from dusting??
Other than the marks on the rim, the remainder of the goblet is perfect without defects or damage. Even the contact surface on the base is immaculate. The goblet is clearly marked with acid etched “Wedgwood” on the base.
