Zenith H835P AM/FM Tube Radio *PRICE REDUCED* For Sale

Zenith AM/FM also sold as S-50682. These radios have beautiful sound thanks to the wooden cabinet and large speaker. Features AM/FM/FM AFC/Phono input(switched)/Loudness circuit/Tone control. Measures about 15 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 10 1/2" and weighs 13-14 lbs. Line cord is original and safe to use. When I bought this radio 20 years ago itsort of worked - e.g. pulled in the strongest stations but not the weak ones - now it's dead. Probably a leaky capacitor.

Some scratches on the case but for the age not bad. Front cloth could use replacement or just unstaple and tighten it up. Knobs turn as they should. An excellent restoration candidate. I'm selling off most of the herd as I'll never get all these restored, and I want a new HF transceiver.

Our items are well packed, generally in NEW boxes, with plenty of bubble pack and peanuts.

We prefer to ship with the post office, offering Priority or Ground service. Modern automated postal handling machines are not kind to fine antiques and collectables, and despite our best efforts at diligent packaging we have had items destroyed, and a few have simply vanished. For this reason we will not ship any item with a value greater than $25 without adding insurance. As has no way to do this, the insurance is added as a handling fee.

Large heavy items we ship UPS ground. As we live 15 minutes from the nearest UPS store please be patient with us when purchasing a large, heavy item.

Any of our items are available for pickup at our Pinckney Michigan location. If you choose to pickup, either pay on or bring cash, we do not take checks.

If the item shows up damaged, destroyed, or doesn't show up at all YOU need to work with us, and the post office (or UPS).

Nothing we sell is new. These are used items. Everything is sold AS-IS unless explicitly stated otherwise.

For electronic items we try to add a video so you can see that it works. Many of our electronic items are 20, 30, 40, even 80 years old, and they do not take kindly to being shipped. If it worked when it left our store, it worked when it left our store. If it doesn't work we will clearly state this in the description.

For Amatuer Radio gear that transmits we do not offer any returns.
