This is a Necklace that was made for me approximately 15 years ago by Santo Domingo / Kewa Pueblo artist Wayne Aguilar. He also made a matching Bracelet, ring and earrings (see photo # 5) that are being soldseparately. The necklace portion of this piece is made of 6 separate strands of Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise and Sterling silver beads. There is a large sliding pendant at the bottom that can be removed should you wish to just wear the beaded portion of this necklace. The Pendant is made of Sterling silver, Lapis and what i believe is a type of Crazy Lace Agate. On the back side is the artists mark, at this period Wayne was still using his father's (Tony Sr.) stamp. Check my store to see the other pieces to this set....
The necklace is 19 1/2 inches long and approximately 1 1/4 inches thick. The Pendant measures 4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. And weighs 290 grams....
