Hand-painted animation cel of the rear view of a hangman reading while standing on a gallows hand-painted background. The Hangman has some paint touched up. In the cartoon the hangman is reading to the Big Bad Wolf accusinghim of blowing down the houses of the 3 little pigs. Approx. size 12" x 9". Tear in upper left corner of cel. From the Walter Lantz Swing Symphony Cartoon "The Hams That Couldn't Be Cured" 1942, Universal Pictures. The cel and background image can be seen at the :23 second mark in the cartoon.
