After the decommissioning of the Space Shuttle.13,000 employees were laid off and many of the support facilities at the Cape were shut down.Most of the tools & equipment from these facilities were either scrapped or sold as surplus.It is not uncommon for many of these tools to turn up at local marketplaces, in this area.~a cool piece of history
