Visconti Opera Cherry Blossom Fountain pen 23kt Pd Broad nib MIB For Sale

I am selling a gorgeous mint, boxed, unused Opera Cherry Blossom fountain pen with large 23kt palladium Dreamtouch Broad nib. Note the photos show a medium nib... the actual nib to be shipped will be BROAD. Cartridge/converter filler, with one Visconti premium converter fitted. The pen is made of Visconti's proprietary Acryloid, a combination of acrylic resin and celluloid, which is characterized by an attractive interplay of solid hand-worked resin and celluloid swirls, in a cherry red with black swirls and parchment white background combination. All trim is palladium-plated. Cap closure is simple screw-on system. Length closed is around 14cm, length open is around 13cm, width at widest point on cap (excluding the clip) is 1.5cm, and weight is around 40 grams. Please note there are variations in the colour pattern from pen to pen, and the pen you receive will be different in this regard from that in the photos. Also, the clip may be either enameled or etched in its logo design, as Visconti has varied the clip designs from time to time. New old stock. Now discontinued/no longer manufactured. Combined Shipping Discount

I offer a combined shipping discount for multiple listeditems, but only in circumstances whereby the multiple items are being purchasedon one and same invoice/transaction showing the reduced/adjusted combinedshipping rate. This requires the buyer to request a total for multiplepurchases prior to payment, or to defer payment after the multiple itempurchase commitments are made, prior to payment, so that I can make thenecessary adjustment to the invoice and submit it to the buyer for payment.

I do not offer combined shipping discounts for itemspurchased separately, and/or outside the procedure outlined above.

The reason for this policy relates to the fact that as a matter of course does not automatically retrospectively refund sellerfees/commission expenses for retrospective shipping expense adjustments onseparately purchased/paid-for items, leaving the seller with the administrativeburden and related expense of claiming rebates at a later date via a cumbersomeprocedure.

Shipping and other delays may occur

While we will make every endeavour to dispatchthis item in a timely fashion, delays with couriers/postal agencies, as well asimport authorities (eg. An important note regarding Visconti’s23kt palladium large Dreamtouch nib.

The Visconti 23kt palladium large Dreamtouchnib can be a joy to write with, provided it has been tuned properly. Unfortunately factory settings are notoptimal for some fountain pens that are new "out of the box", and occasionally tuning isrequired.

After purchase and before sending eachVisconti fountain pen fitted with a large Dreamtouch 23kt palladium nib, I willremove the nib unit, put it in my tester pen, and check (and adjust asnecessary) to ensure it writes correctly. Then I will wash the nib unitthrough, clean it and put it back inside the purchased pen. In this way I canbe sure the pen will write correctly.

Some minor droplets or ink/water residuemay become apparent around the nib or inside the barrel when the pen isreceived, as a result of air pressure changes during courier air transport. I will warrant the performance of the nibunit as a consequence of the aforementioned procedure.

If the buyer prefers this procedure notbe undertaken, a message to that effect should be left with the order. However,in such circumstances the writing performance shall not be warranted, and Iwill not accept returns on account of the writing performance of the nib.
