Vintage Thorens Camel Swiss Music Box by Fred Zimbalist For Sale

For your consideration is a beautifully made Camel music box made by Fred Zimbalist. Each one is etched in India and then shipped to the US to have it's music box installed. It is hand etched nickel plated brass in a floral scrolled pattern. It has red glass eyes. no damage, but there is some tarnishing and some scratching from age and use. I have not polished it, it is as found. It plays beautifully but it does play slow. I have not been able to identify the song it plays. The back is hinged and opens to show a music box that is also etched. The music box is a Thornes Swiss music box. It measures approx. 10" tall, 9 3/4" long and 6" wide.
