Description:Vintage Millers Falls No. 771 12" "Lion" Ratcheting Brace, Heavy Duty -This is an excellent example of a rare Miller Falls Parson's brace No 5010 with A ball bearing chuck designed for this specific top of the line brace. It has the famous patented "Leland" Universal Jaws. Condition is excellent, with 95% of the original plating.The jaws are the best universal type that uses older tapered auger bits as well as newer round and hex shank bits. This has a ball bearing chuck which makes tightening down on and loosening a bit much easier.The handles are beautiful clear red permaloid , no cracks, breaks or repairs. Brace has been lubricated and tested.
Condition:Everything works and adjusts very smoothly. There is no rust or pitting, plating is approximately 95%, there are minor scuffs on the permaloid plastic handle and pad.
