Up for your consideration, is this 1963 Department of The Navy, Special Projects Office, telephone directory. This was an estate sale, find from the estate of. B. A. Heesacker . Mister Heesacker was a retired United States Naval Commander. This gentleman was the weapons officer at the time when President John F Kennedy came aboard the USS observation island to observe the launch of the Polaris missile test on November 16, 1963, just six days before he was assassinated! The Director is in very good, original used, vintage, condition with traces of history and well proportioned character. Wear is consistent with age and use.
