This rare vintage letter opener and pocket knife set features the iconic Ballantine's Malt Syrup branding. Made by Utica Cutlery in the United States, this item is a must-have for any collector of breweriana or beer memorabilia. This item is so rare, I can't find any information on it to even estimate a date: Utica Cutlery has been in business since 1910 and appears to still be going strong.
The opener and knife both show age: mental has some corrosion and there is a crack in the plastic (?) where the pocketknife attaches, though everything still feels sturdy and ready for use. Please rely on photos for details on condition.
