SIOUX VASE SOUTH DAKOTA SIGNED ETCHED TERRA COTTA VTG 7.25” DARK GREEN HANDMADE

Sioux Pottery is made in the Black Hills by artists representing the seven tribes of the Lakota people. This vase is 7.25” tall, 2” diameter at the top base opening and almost 4” diameter at the widest point of the bulbous bottom. Very good condition, see photos. Each piece is slip cast and hand etched with Sioux symbols designed and hand-crafted by Sioux artists. Glazed interior makes this piece waterproof and functional. Native symbols on each pot represent things important to Lakota life: water, rain, mountains, friendship, fortress and more.
