This is a Maioliche Jessica Casserole/Serving bowl. It is a vibrant Tiffany blue/turquoise with a raised scroll design on the bottom. For whatever reason, it is photographing much more blue than it is. It has more green like the Tiffany blue/green. It looks like the scroll pattern had a darker color (possibly a metallic silver) but most of it has been worn off. It still is beautiful as is. It is clearly stamped \"Made in Italy Maioliche Jessica\" on the bottom.
It is in excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips, repairs, or crazing. It is a beautiful example of vintage Italian, majolica, handmade pottery. This would pair beautifully with pieces that have a cottage core look, especially with a bright sunny yellow.
