Custom Antique Headlight Lamp.
This one-of-a-kind desk lamp was almost entirely created using salvaged materials from the Washington, DC metro area. Check out the before photo, or watch my video to see a quick timeline of the transformation from a rusted piece of metal to a unique lighting fixture.
The headlight uses a standard bulb (LED recommended), and the wire has an in-line on/off switch for easy use. The lamp is in a fixed position.
The chrome glass ring is original and purposefully not been re-chromed. While the chrome has shined up beautifully, there are still visible lines that add character and show lifespan of the piece.
The base of this lamp is a salvaged floorboard, which makes for a great phone rest. Why use a ring light for your zoom calls when you can use this?!
