Incredible full name umbrella signature, "Thomas A. Edison"
Signature has been estimated to be from ~1885-1888, putting Edison in his late 30's - early 40's at the time of signing.
Edison signatures in blue ink are essentially non existent.
Furthermore, he signed on the reverse of Henry W. Seely's calling card. Seely, the inventor of the electric flat iron, was Edison's close friend and patent attorney.
