Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985) was a multitalented design genius, widely considered a leading figure of modern Finnish industrial art.This candleholder, Model 3412, was handblown by the designer for the company Iittalia and signed on the bottom. (Fourth photo shows his signature.)It is 5 1/2 inches high, 3 1/2\" wide across the top, and 1 1/8\" wide at the base. PERFECT condition and a beautiful addition to your glass collection, whether or not you collect Scandinavian glass.
