Here is a superb, , Singer sewing machine retrofitted to hand crank , model 128 vibrating shuttle, dated to between 1936 and 1940 by serial number JB542842 and housed in a fabulous original Bentwood case. No key but lock works perfectly with a small screwdriver.
This Singer hand crank is decorated in the lovely celtic Knot decorations and has the beautiful scrolled face plate and side cover plates.
The hand crank device is brand new and runs the machine perfectly. This amazing Singer runs incredibly smoothly with no friction at all.
We threaded it and fully tested all functions. It sewed perfect stitches top and bottom. All functions, bobbin winder, tensioner, stitch length, thread release all in perfect working order. Just a great sewing machine and made to last a lifetime. Super Singer quality!
Condition is excellent, the celtic Knot decorations are in excellent condition, black lacquer paint also excellent and super shiny. .The lovely bentwood case is also in superb condition . One bolt holding the handle was replaced. This model 128 is in beautiful condition has been fully tested, oiled and is ready to sew.
Comes with the bullet shuttle and barbell bobbin, , some attachments and some cool vintage tools.
