S.M.S. BREMEN (1903) She was the lead ship of the seven-vessel BREMEN class of light cruisers, built for the German Imperial Navy in the early 1900s. She was launched 9 July 1903 and commissioned 19 May 1904. Information from back of the card:"The BREMEN of the German Navy is a third class cruiser. Displacement of 3200 tons length 341 feet, width 43.25 feet, Draft of 16.5 feet. Horse-power 10,000. Armament 10 4.1 inch guns; 10 1/4 inch, 4 machine and 2 light guns. Speed 23 knots. Crew, 268 officers and men. Built at Bremen, German in 1903-1904. Cost about $1,275,000." Sunk 17 Dec. 1915.
