Around 1998 a new uniform for the Norwegian Army was introduced: the M/98 model. This uniform used essentially the same camouflage pattern as the M/75, although the colors were different. A ripstop version of the standard fighting uniform was introduced in 2004, printed using the same coloration. As with previous Norwegian models, there are subtle color differences between different production cycles.
