This is a very rare JJ Jonette Horse Necklace. It has sections that are brushed gold and sections with high polish - beautifully done. The center is silver tone accents. The chain is 15 1/4 inches long. If you need it longer a jeweler could put an extension or a different chain on it for you. This was most likely made in the 1980s and unlike some of his pins, this necklace is a very rare find and perfect for collectors because of the unused condition!
Getting more collectible every year, this designer's work is wonderfully detailed and often humorous.

So How Can I Say This Vintage Item Has Never Been Worn???
Most of the jewelry I sell is from a warehouse/business buy-out purchased from a retired jewelry wholesaler who did business from the 1970s thru the 1990s --- so has never been worn or sold at retail - only stored! Much of this fashion jewelry was seasonal department store overstock. Others were made for chain stores like Hot Topic, Wet Seal, The Limited etc. Back then wholesalers had to be known and trusted to be an overstock buyer from many of these stores.
