Up for sale is an extremely rare antique J. GALLIVAN embossed blob top beer bottle in good, lightly cleaned, as dug condition. Champagne style bottle measuring 2-7/8" across the bottom and approx. 9-7/8" tall. Bottle is embossed boldly on both sides in cursive and reads as follows:

The Jeremiah Gallivan brewery was only in existence from 1895-1896 in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. The address was 723 North 4th Street and 401/403 Brown Street. They made Porter and Lager beers.
In 1896 the company was taken over by the Baltic beer company
