Circa 1876 13-star CentennialMedallion Parade Flag
Made of starched muslin with print dye. Parade Flags like this are a piece ofAmerican history as they were produced on a roll, printed on one side, attachedto wooden sticks using adhesive, and then shipped to Hardware and GeneralStores in packages of 12, which would sell to the general public for ceremonies.Was attached to a stick at one time however removed for framing.
