RARE 1914 “The Crucible” Yearbook of the Young Men’s Christian Association Colllege with campuses in Chicago and Lake Geneva (now George Williams College).
There were only 12 graduating seniors this year, and fewer than 75 students. This copy is inscribed by its owner, K. C. E. Wheeler, one of the graduating seniors.
Excellent content throughout. There is also a nice local advertising section in the back.
The dark green cover and spine have significant wear and tear as shown in the photos— some tears and clipped corners, stains, etc. The binding and book block are in good condition overall with few marks except on the cover page, which has a stain and some foxing.
