For sale is this wine set made by Horace Bridgewater. It is in very good condition with minor paint chips. There are no breaks or bending. The original box is included but it is only in acceptable condition with corners torn - all pieces are present. The pamphlet is missing.
This Rare item was made by Horace Bridgewater HARKing the end of prohibition. Prohibition started in 1920 and ended in 1933. The box has born 1919 and died is left blank longing for the end. As the end of prohibition was near.
This set includes the man, corkscrew, cork, jigger, a bottle opener and the box = 6 pieces. The man’s head, jigger and bottle opener are marked pat. applied for no date. The box does have the newer makers mark. Later pieces were marked with the date after patent was received.
This would be an excellent Halloween prop! Or for historical bar decor.
