These are original Popcorn Sutton’s Tennessee White Whiskey Mason jar containers that has been opened and emptied. These jars are getting scarce, has the original gold colored Mason top Jar with the handwritten "8" on top. After being sued by Jack Daniels, the black "Popcorn Sutton white whiskey" bottle took its place and after losing that lawsuit it is now being replaced with a black-topped Mason Jars. These original Mason jars are becoming increasingly hard to find, and soon the "Black" white whiskey bottle will be out of production as well.Get the first run original jar as a display item, or just hold on to a piece of history.Popcorn's original moonshine was bottled in Mason jars, numbered #1 thru #12 as they were filled from the still. This tradition was continued by his partner's legitimate company (partnering with Sutton's widow Pam) in Nashville TN. The Mason jars were discontinued in 2013, replaced with black square glass bottles (now out of production as well).These jars, ( like the one I have listed) labeled with Popcorn Sutton's signature, are no longer produced and are extremely rare. This is the perfect conversation piece for your bar or liquor cabinet, and an excellent display item, or decanter for your whiskey.These jars are no longer in production, have been discontinued, and are no longer available, and are from the 1st year of production. This jar formerly contained the original product.These Popcorn Sutton's Mason jars were distributed only to Tennessee, Arkansas, and Georgia, possibly 1 or 2 other states. They are extremely hard to find in these states, and much more rare in states where there was no distribution.The black lettering on the jar is in perfect condition. You’ll notice the number ink on the lid may not be perfect. This is because when filling the jars, workers would write the numbers on lids, and then close the case lid, and the ink would partially blot onto the lid.There is absolutely no alcohol in this container.
