Onoto De La Rue “The Pen” 6234
This pen came in from a collection as shown. The internal mechanics are NOT correct. No information was provided on who modified the pen.
It has been modified reminiscent of a Sheaffer plunger filler. It does fill and write nicely with a firm seal, however, it will bleed slightly at the rear seal. None of the internal mechanism is original.
Offered “as-is” or as a great parts resource, not a restored pen - since we did not restore it.
5 size nib is 14k medium. Plating is great. No cracks on cap or barrel.
There is a small chunk missing on the filler knob.
