Thisvase is attributed to the Siren painter.Red-figure vase paintingis one of the most important styles of figural Greek vase painting. Itdeveloped in Athens around 530 BC and remained in use until the late 3rdcentury BC. It replaced the previously dominant style of Black-figurevase painting within a few decades. Its modern name is based on thefigural depictions in red color on a black background, in contrast tothe preceding black-figure style with black figures on a redbackground.It was Hand made in Greece, diameter is approximately8 inches.Our clay items are Hand painted and not fastly made, nor arethey cheaply made of substitute materials such as resin.
