DISCUSSION:
The National Remedy Company, “Manufacturing Chemists (and) Proprietary Medicines”, of New York City, were looking for agents to sell their cra-, er, patent medicines of great value and efficacy. Hmm. Although I cannot find any record of the company having ever been sued or indicted, their remedies as listed here included Wonderful Japanese Oil, Dr. Swan’s Liver & Kidney Cure, National Specific for Malaria, and Cascara Pills, so draw your own conclusions.

DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:
3 pieces. Letter 6”x9”; form 6”x7”; envelope 5.5”x3”. Folds, some light soil, minor wear, corner slice.
