Napolean Bonaparte Large Litho By Britton And Rey Signed H Steinegger. It says Napoleon Fontainebleau 1814. This is a large piece and is in a frame but the backing is wood with small square nails., 22 in high, 20in wide. See pictures. The printed paper has age stains, looks like it was rolled up before framing. see pictures. I have looked up this image of Napoleon and it appears different from the darker moody images portrayed. I looked up Britton and Rey S F and found it located in San Francisco in the late 1800’s. The signature along the bottom of the portrait is H Steinegger who passed away in 1917 from what I have been informed and suffered much loss in the SF earthquake in 1907. It has its unique rough look from age and by the way it was framed. Thank you for looking
