Maitland-Smith Wall Shelf Tooled Leather Book Style
This is a beautiful display shelf that is made by Maitland Smith. It is made of tooled decorative leather covering wood and it looks like an antique leather bound book. "Short Stories" by Maupassant. The leather is a rich deep red-brown with gold embellishment.
The height from top to end of support is approx 12.25", the width is the same. The depth from wall to edge is nearly 9".
The shelf has been used, and I removed it from the wall on which it was displayed, There are a couple of discrete areas indicating use, but they are hardy noticeable. Remember it IS supposed to look like an antique book. When you use it as a shelf, you'll put something on it anyway.
I'm providing photos I took in a couple of location. Without it being wall mounted, I had trouble getting photos I like.I can try other angles if that is important to you.
