Optima P1 ultra portable typewriter.Its serial number, 256980, dates it to 1959.
Near Mint cosmetic condition! Enchanting green finish. No rust. Nice nickel plating. Nothing cosmetic to report other than few tiny chips and a little dust. Minty!
The typewriter works nearly perfectly. Carriage advances and returns well. Nice ding at the end of each line. No sticking typebars. The ribbon vibrator hangs up 1/16\" too high so you may want to adjust that but it truly isn\'t necessary. Just needs a new ribbon and ready to write.
This Optima types 10 characters per inch (Pica).
An original case is included.
Again, minty condition overall!
