Basket was made during Make-A-Basket at Boyds Basket Fest 2009, a Longaberger and Boyds Bears joint venture held at the World's Most Humongous Teddy Bear Store, in Gettysburg, PA in August 2009. It shaes the same form as the Blue Ribbon Canning basket as well as the 2007 Woven Memories basket.

In August 2009 - Collectors Club Day - Collectors Club members received priority scheduling to weave a Basket that feature a Longaberger family member's signature on the bottom and the option of Deep Brown or Natural handles. Charter members received a 'Charter Member' burn on the handle.

The Longaberger Company, Dresden Ohio, created handwoven baskets out of hardwood maple sourced from the US, pottery, hand-forged wrought iron and other items for over forty years, from 1973 to 2018. The company reopened in 2019 with artisans still located in Dresden Ohio who create baskets just as they had for a century before. Longaberger baskets are handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. At the height of the company’s popularity there were over 4,000 weavers and over 70,000 home consultants. As a consultant for over 20 years, I have a great deal of inventory that was either stored or used for display purposes. I also seek out excellent Longaberger items to bring to you online by traveling across many states to seek out the best Longaberger items that are clean and in desirable condition.
